Position Title Research Assistant I - NE
Position Summary:

Will work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment to perform basic molecular techniques such as solution preparation, cloning, DNA and protein purification, and Western blotting. Additionally, will also be involved in maintenance of mammalian and insect cell cultures, and ELISA analysis of protein-antibody interactions and perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.

This position works in a laboratory or vivarium environment. Further details of the physical requirements of established essential functions for this position will be addressed/discussed during the interview process.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained. Requires 1-3 years experience. Candidates possessing a Master’s degree, 0-2 years experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous laboratory experience in biochemistry or molecular biology is desirable.

Compensation: $18.09- 22.58 per hour
